Review: Jeanne is a fabulous dental assistant! She was so professional and knowledgeable. She put me at ease and made me feel right at home. Dr. Sylvester was my dentist and she was also very professional and friendly. Gabby was an excellent hygienist who paid attention to detail and made sure I left feeling well taken care of. I’ll be back in six months for sure!

Review: When you walk in be prepared for it to be loud. Loud music coupled with hard surfaces made the whole experience difficult and aggravating. I had to fight to have a simple cleaning when they told me I needed a deep cleaning (which I do need but was not prepared in time or money to do so that day.) They tried to have me check out with out a cleaning because I told them I wasn’t prepared to do the deep cleaning. I had already been there an hour. The basic cleaning was well done and quick but then they tried to charged me twice as much as I had been told it would cost when I made the appointment. I had to fight to fix that. Their receptionist was very lovely and helpful and I only paid what I was told I would have to pay because she knew more than the hygienist (as she should). My recommendation is turn the music down, hand some noise reduction decor, let the dental professionals do their jobs and have the business people handle the business part. I will not be going back. It was the single worse dental experience in my 46 years of life.

Review: I was in search of a new dentist and came across the Fontenot Family Dentistry on my dental provider’s portal. Ultimately I ended up needing a root canal, and soon if I wanted to get it done before vacation (because who wants to deal with tooth pain on their vacation right), and I’ve always been rather anxious at the dentist. Just being in the chair drives my anxiety through the roof, but I truthfully had the BEST experience here with Dr. Texada (please forgive me if I misspelled), he made me feel so at ease before and during the procedure. After the procedure, I was so worried I’d still be in pain but literally within 48 hours, I couldn’t tell a procedure had been done in my mouth, because that’s how quickly it went to feeling back to normal. I would definitely recommend this Dentist office, whether dealing with the dentist I had or another friendly member of their team, I genuinely feel you will leave just as satisfied and please as I have. I can be a hard critic on dentists just because of the multiple bad experiences I have had growing up, but I feel like I’ve found my forever dentistry home now !!
