Review: Make sure you know what your insurance pays for. I've had issues with them trying to collect money from me that the insurance pays for. Fir example: basic cleaning. Thru have also attempted to collect other funds. I know what my responsibility is. I know what my dental plan plans for. I've had to call my Insurance company to correct them while I sat in the dentist's office chair! Be knowledgeable! Check your bill they send yo

Review: Going to the dentist is nerve wrecking enough as it is. Not at Metairie Modern Dentistry! I can honestly say that after every visit to their office, I leave feeling relieved. The staff there is exceptional when it comes to making patients feel welcome and at ease. Today I met 2 behind the scenes ladies; Sasha and Tonya, and both were equally wonderful! Their professionalism and courtesy went right along with what I've come to expect every time I step foot in that office, and they served as a reminder on why I keep coming back. Great job ladies! Review: The best experience I've ever had a dentist! I mean everyone was so helpful and helped ease all my anxieties on what I thought was going to a stressful visit. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk, the X-ray techs, to the dentist, and Tonya made my choosing Metairie Modern Dental well worth it. I finally have found my new dental office and I could not be any happier!

Review: The only reason I gave this place one star is because the dental tech was really nice. I scheduled a routine cleaning, this was my first visit. I wasn't surprised with the xrays of my teeth since it was my first visit. I was however surprised when I was told that I would need a crown, deep cleaning and it would cost $2,360! This was my portion out of pocket. My other option would be to just get the deep cleaning that was $486. Neither was on my agenda. I had a previous cleaning 6 months prior with no issues. When I said I wasn't about to pay for those services and just wanted my routine cleaning Sasha (I believe that's her name) quickly informed the dentist and ushered me to the front office. I was told that another appointment would be made and if cancelled there would be a $100 fee. They had my insurance information prior to my appointment and when I looked at the Explanation of Benefits they billed me for procedures that were'nt even covered. I wish I would've read the Google reviews before making this appointment. It looks like this is routine for them.
