Dr. Steve Springer is a board-certified family medicine physician who received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. He moved to Lake Charles in 1997 to attend the Family Medicine Residency located at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where he finished as Chief Resident. His special areas of interest include Direct Primary Care, Mobile Health Technologies, Smoking Cessation, medically managed weight loss, diabetes, advanced wound healing, dermatology and facial cosmetic procedures. Post-residency training has included attendance at Global Skin Healing conferences as well as specialized training in regard to Botox and Juvederm injections.
