Dr. Simons is a member of the F. Harold Wirth Study Club, the New Orleans Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Association of Orthodontics, and the American Association of Orthodontics. She is a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome in Metairie, Louisiana. where she is involved in the Family Life committee and the adoration chapel. Dr. Simons serves on the board of ACCESS, Catholic Charities Pro Life and Adoption Service Outreach. She and her husband, Rodney, have three children, Claire, Christian, and Caleb and two fur babies – CoCo and Chloe.

Review: Our family has been seeing Dr. Simons for more than 20 years, and we have been so so happy with her.Dr Simons is a great orthodontist. She always goes the extra mile for her patients. She has a great staff and a very nice selection of different orthodontic treatment options.On top of all that, she is the nicest person, and really cares deeply for her patients and their wellbeing. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent orthodontist!!

Review: Our daughter was referred to Dr. Shannon Simons by our dentist. We felt completely comfortable with Dr. Simons right from the start. She was kind, friendly and welcoming. The first couple of visits were just consultations. Dr. Simons did not rush us into getting braces and waited until the right time. Once the process started, everything was explained clearly. The opportunity to pay over time was a life saver. With each visit, Dr. Simons took the time to make sure our daughter understood her directions and we understood what was happening and why. The best part was the realistic way she dealt with our teenager. Dr. Simons realized she wasn’t always cleaning her teeth as she should or consistently wearing her retainer. But all was handled with compassion, not judgmentally or with shaming. She is simply a wonderful person as well as an excellent orthodontist. We will miss seeing her!

Review: THE BEST orthodontist anyone could ask for. Dr. Simons does not rush through appointments. She takes her time and gets to know each of her patients. I have gotten so many compliments on my teeth since getting braces over 10 years ago and I owe it all to her and her team! Her office is very clean, welcoming, and family friendly. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth!

Review: I've been a patient of Dr. Simons for over 10 years now. She and her staff are a delight to work with. My family and I could not recommend her more. My teeth required extensive work, but they look infinitely better. I actually enjoy my smile now. She is incredibly sweet and truly cares not only for her patients' orthodontics but for them personally as well.

Review: Dr. Simons is top-notch. Both of my children had braces under her care, and the treatment and results were outstanding! I was advised by an oral surgeon that Dr. Simons was the most precise orthodontist in the city. I agree! I would highly recommend her.In addition, during this pandemic, she kept in touch with us and opened as soon as she felt it was safe with extra precautions for her staff and patients. She truly cares about her patients.
